Minimum Qualifications: • Doctoral degree in a field connected to the study of irregular warfare and armed conflict, such as international relations, security studies, political science, history, sociology, economics, anthropology, psychology, philosophy, or related fields. • Must be a U.S. citizen and capable of obtaining a security clearance. • A proven record of scholarship, instruction, and leadership in the candidate’s field. • Leadership experience in an academic organization. • An academic record that would merit an appointment as a Professor with tenure upon arrival. • Track record or demonstrable potential for building and maintaining collaborative relationships with institutional partners. Additional preferred qualifications: • Currently holding or be immediately eligible for a Top Secret clearance. • Experience working in or with the U.S. Department of Defense. |
