Military-Govt Field Service Specialist

The Impact You'll Make in this Role
The Military-Govt Field Service Specialist implements and administers 3M Scott's service policy with Military-Govt Scott Authorized Service Centers and In-house Repair Centers at the global level. Supports the Military-Govt sales team initiatives.

As a Military-Govt Field Service Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Monitor end user satisfaction with existing service support.
• Evaluate existing authorized service center activities and territories through performance reviews recommending additional service and/or termination of authorized service centers not adhering to 3M Scott policy.
• Provide technical assistance, setup, and grow the overall professionalism of authorized service centers, in-house repair centers, by conducting both Level I and II technician level training programs and end user training programs, developing, and performing service center audits as required.
• Responsible for assisting in the overall success of Military-Govt sales goals assisting with sales presentations where required, as well as regularly promoting accessory, spares parts sales, and service equipment lease programs.
• Attend and support trade shows, exhibits, and demonstrations as required.
• Assist the 3M Scott Service Manager and Govt Regional Business Manager team as required developing the technical expertise and support of Sales/Service Network where necessary.

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Three (3) years of respiratory, safety, or fire service equipment sales and/or maintenance to include customer relations or training experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• Current, Valid Driver's license is required, as you will be issued a company vehicle for this position (if applicable)
• Eligible to obtain access to US DoD/US Govt facilities
• Possess or eligible to obtain a U.S. Passport

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Relational knowledge of 3M Scott or competitive respiratory product lines
• Good interpersonal, communication, time management, presentation, and planning skills
• Possess/demonstrate mechanical aptitude
• Self-starter, detail oriented, with a 'can-do' professional attitude and appearance
• Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft family of software

Travel: May include up to 75% domestic and/or international travel

Relocation Assistance: Relocation may be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.
