The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Plant Engineering Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Supervise a multi-craft team to respond to work orders in a timely, efficient, and safe manner
• Instruct and monitor employees on proper procedures, activities, and policies
• Implementing and executing preventive and repair maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and maintenance costs
• Coordinating planning and scheduling of maintenance activities with production, engineering, contractors, and craft people to meet schedules and business priorities
• Works with purchasing, vendors, and engineering to specify, order, and expedite parts and materials
• Provides support of safety and quality programs
• Leads or participates on special projects as assigned
• Willingness to work some weekends and to be on-call

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Three (3) years of experience within a plant maintenance organization in a private, public, government or military environment
• Current and valid driver's license

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Five years of experience within a plant maintenance organization in a private, public, government or military environment
• Skills including project management & proficiency with Maximo (CMMS/SAMS) or SAP-PM

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic and international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.
