• Writing reports, articles, and case studies on government contracting issues;
• Helping grow the Baroni Center's thought leadership and research portfolio;
• Drafting and publishing commentary pieces on government contracting issues;
• Seeking extramural research funding through grants and contracts;
• Undertaking academic literature reviews and managing qualitative and quantitative research data;
• Conducting interviews with staff at government contracting firms and government agencies; and
• Participating in other activities of the Baroni Center, including: student engagement activities, internal strategic planning and research activities and Advisory Board activities.

• Master's degree in Business, Economics or Public Policy or demonstrable research that exhibits mastery; or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience;
• Skill with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams; and
• Three or more years' experience in defense contracting, public procurement, accounting, or business and policy research.

• PhD in Business, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field;
• Research experience in defense contracting or public procurement;
• Managerial experience in defense contracting or public procurement; and
• Familiarity with R or Stata, NVivo, and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience.
